Le programme détaillé du congrès ib2004 à Watford les 23 et 24 septembre 2004-07-15 Detailed programme http://www.ib2004.net/day1.jsp
Today more than ever, buildings must be designed, constructed and managed to respond more quickly to users’ needs and external factors such as environmental performance and climate change. The performance and sustainability of a building can be enhanced considerably by making the building an intelligent asset that reduces energy use, manages security and safety, and provides users with access to the communications and information services that are such an essential component of modern life.
Over the 2 days of IB 2004 we will explore all these issues with speakers from a range of organisations that are at the forefront of thinking on intelligent systems and their application into buildings. We will review strategic developments and applications of technology in buildings, look at how innovation is reaching the market, and investigate the crucial issues of planning, financing and managing installations to imporve performance and add value.
Focus for Day 1: Demonstrating ways of improving the performance and value of buildings through the use of more intelligent building management and control systems, including energy management, HVAC, security, fire detection and alarm, access control, lighting and environmental management.
